The cutting of stones with water
The water jet cutting is the ideal process for processing stones.
For straight cuts, the conventional stone treatment with stone saws is very rapid, but the retouching work of the ringed and cutting edges cut with a wide tolerance range are very expensive (the edges are often reprocessed by grinding and polishing works up to 7 times). The conventional methods are also coming upon the limits when dealing with curvatures, curved outlines or internal failures. Owing to the effective restoring force per unit area onto the processed stone, filigree outlines can be only produced with much difficulty and with a high rejection rate or even not be realized at all. The making of identical pieces is almost impossible.
For this aim the water jet cutting provides important advantages:
The work pieces are separated from the flagstone with a high precision of approx. 0,1 mm. This represents a clear improvement in comparison with the usual methods, reaching a precision from 0,5 mm to 1,0 mm in milling and sawing. Therefore the accurately fitting production with the water jet process facilitates inlays with complex and filigree outlines without the necessity of reprocessing the cutting edges. The high quality of the edge does not make the refinishing work on the not visible edges necessary. It is only necessary to grind the visible edges three times and subsequently polish them. Therewit the making of identical pieces is efficient and anytime reproducible.
The cutting of tiles with water
Tiles and stoneware can perfeclty be cut with the water jet cutting technique. It is possible to realize accurate cutouts for switches and armatures as well as elaborate inlays as per your drafts, logos or your initials in your wished material. You can also choose an ornament or an inly, e.g. parts of a jigsaw puzzle or wind roses which we can individually produce from your material. Large-surface outlines like tiles linings of swimming pools, turntables, stair elements can be also produced with great precision.
