On first though, whether the basic material to be cut is going to be processed with
- Pure water (for flexible materials, like rubber, timber)
or with
- Abrasive (for hard materials, like metal, glass)
is followed by the decision of the wished cutting quality, which gets influenced by
- The rate of cutting (feed rate)
- Level of the water pressure
- Quantity of the abrasive
and in this case we are discerning three different cutting levels:
- Cross cut
Maximum rate of cutting. The work piece is processed as quickly as possible.
The flush cut is of approx. 30% with an apparent and perceptible dimension tolerance in the surface.
- Standard cut
Half cross cut rate. In more efficient processing period a good quality of the edges and the corners is reached. Good surface quality, medium cutting level.
- Qualitativ cut
Which represents 25% of the cross cut rate. The edges are almost rectangular and the reached quality of the edges and the corners very good at a very high flush-cut rate. A very high finish quality.
